Lowe’s is launching a drone delivery service in a partnership with DoorDash and Alphabet’s Wing, CNBC has learned exclusively. The company’s chief information and AI officer told CNBC the new technology is aimed at reducing friction for both DIY and pro shoppers. Lowe’s is the latest retailer to join the race to capitalize on drone delivery technology.
